This technique focuses on the deeper layer of muscle tissues. Cupping strives to balance and improve the flow of qi, or life energy, which travels throughout the body in channels called meridians. Deep Tissue massage can greatly decrease recuperation time after athletic activity, combat fatigue, and improve performance by easing pain and reducing tension. It can prevent muscle and tendon injuries, reduce the strain and discomforts of training, and prevent many of the common problems athletes develop from repetitive motion.
